Music Department

The Garey HIgh School Music Department has had a long history of winning awards all over Southern California.  Under the direction of Mr. Anthony Bonner and assistant Jorge Zuniga the Garey High School band and orchestra have become the pride and joy of Pomona.  The award winning band has been winning top awards since the 1980s beginning with Music Teacher Jerry Weakley who has been memorialized on with image painted on the music room's outer wall.  Having been a former student of Mr. Weakley, Mr. Anthony Bonner has continued the legacy of and has grown the music program exponentially.
