Scripps Professor Michelle Decker and Executive Director, Margaret Aichele from tthe Da' Center for the Arts developed "Poetry in the World", a Creative Writing Workshop Series and invited PUSD students to participate. Garey students' Gloria Rodriguez, Samantha Torres, John Bragado, Adriana Cabello, and Claudia Rubio successfully completed the program. At a culminating event, they read their poems along with Poet Laureate, Lynne Thompson. CONGRATULATIONS!
