Mt. San Antonio Community College gives back to Garey High School’s Literature Club!! Ms. Sanchez, an English teacher and the club’s advisor, was committed to continue the club’s success by holding virtual club meetings this semester. However, given that we are in a pandemic, she knew that it would be nearly impossible for club members to fundraise for new books this academic school year. Therefore, she contacted Mt. Sac and asked if they were able to donate copies of Sandra Cisneros’ The House on Mango Street, a book that was chosen for the college’s One Book, One Campus Read.
