Nine PUSD Students Honored with Habitat for Humanity’s Prestigious Community Builder Award

Pomona Unified School District is proud to celebrate a remarkable group of student leaders who exemplify a strong commitment to both academic excellence and community engagement. At the annual Community Builder Awards Dinner, held on Sunday, May 6, 2025, at the Fairplex Sheraton Hotel and Convention Center in Pomona, nine exceptional high school students from Diamond Ranch, Garey, Village Academy, Fremont Academy, and SEEO were recognized for their achievements in civic involvement, philanthropic contributions, and scholastic success. Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Christine Charland thanked PUSD for their continued commitment to service learning and community engagement.
