How to Apply
The Saturday Academy is open to any Pomona Unified School District (PUSD) school student in middle school up to high school.
Western University, through the student organization Pipelines to Healthcare, conducts a series of Saturday morning sessions for Pomona middle school students to learn about careers in the health sciences.These are fun, active and informative workshops for parents and 6th grade students. Presentations and hands-on learning sessions are conducted by a variety of health care professionals and WesternU students.
WHEN:
Saturdays 9:00am - 12:00pm noon.
Registration time for all academies: 8:00am-9:00am
Program time for all academies: 9:00am-12:00pm
Lunch time for all academies: 12:00pm-1:00pm
Food is provided and a youth curriculum is available for minor children to facilitate whole family participation.
